Pears Transparent Soap

Pears Transparent Soap

We will wonder for sure, yes the soap which has the long history like jewels and silks is really amazing. This is a brand of soap which was produced and sold in 1789 by Andrew Pears in London. Under the stewardship of Thomas J. Barratt, A & F pears ltd company initiated number of new innovations in sales and marketing, their pears soap was the world’s first registered brand since then it is world’s oldest continuously existing brand, according to Unilever records.

The New Pears Soap

The concave shape of the soap is formed by shrinkage while the soap is drying, and is not due to deliberate molding. The pears soap was produced in two sizes i.e 75g and 125g. Nowadays this soap is coming in two new sizes i.e 69g and 119g and in India it is available in 75g and 125g, it comes in three colors, the Classic Amber Pears, Green Pears and mint Pears or Blue Pears.

Recent changes to the quality of ingredients used in the manufacturing process have resulted in a noticeably different shape and difference in scent with the classic transparent amber bar which was so mild and spicy herbal fragrance. Now the shape of the pears soap is flatter rather than concave and the aroma is now, very strong frankincense smell.

In 2009 the formula for the transparent amber soap was altered from the original formula to become ‘Gentle Care’ wrapped in an inner cellophane cover. The new soap is slightly softer in texture and the most noticeable difference is the scent, the improvements made were motivated by the desire to produce soap more quickly and with cheaper ingredients, therefore they can increase the profit.

Classic amber- It is pure and gentle with glycerin and natural oil.

Blue Soap- It is with mint extract used as Germ shield.

Green Soap- It is with lemon flower extracts used as oil clear soap.
